SEDI provides several volunteer work opportunities that support our mission. We hope you can match your talent to at least one of our areas of need.
Help us research and write policy positions on sustainability issues.
SEDI Business Resource Center
Support our micro-loan program and small, entrepreneurial and home-based business services.
SEDI Educational Outreach
Assist us in supporting sustainability education K-Graduate School and in creating internship opportunities in the community.
Marketing, Grant Writing & Fundraising
Help us educate the public about our programs and services, write grants and raise funds for our programs.
Assist with filing, copying, light bookkeeping, data entry, running automated reports and letters, sorting mail, helping with mass mailings, and other general office duties. Days per week and hours per day may be negotiated, to meet your needs.

The Sustainable Economic Development Initiative's mission is to promote sustainable economic prosperity in northern Arizona through ecological health, social equity, and a resilient economy. We encourage renewable energy, local food sovereignty, the creation of jobs with wages and benefits that provide adequately for families and contribute to community. We actively support the stewardship of our natural resources, including water and land management, through sustainable economic development while helping to restore natural systems.
