Carol Bousquet Brings 30 Years of Experience to SEDI
SEDI’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Carol C. Bousquet, AICP as its new Executive Director. Carol’s education and professional experience have been in city and regional planning for the past 30 years. Carol’s training includes a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design and a Master of Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Her academic activities include being an adjunct professor and guest lecturer.
She is currently vice-chair of the Citizens Advisory Committee for the Flagstaff Regional Plan, where she will continue her services, and has served on the Flagstaff Clean and Green Committee as well as a number of volunteer organizations.
As a professional planner she has developed comprehensive community and regional plans as well as acting as Director of Planning and Development for a community of 55,000 in Massachusetts. She also has substantial experience in obtaining grants, directing staff, etc.
Ron Hubert, President of SEDI, stated, “We are very pleased to have Carol joining SEDI to lead our staff operations and fundraising efforts. Carol has great qualifications which will be of substantial value as SEDI works to bring new sustainable jobs and economic development to northern Arizona.”
